The food was great! The chicken & dumplings, cornbread and green beans were my favorites! The pulled pork was also good, as were the mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and rice with chicken! The regular bbq sauce and the house bbq sauce were very different from each other, but both were good! The staff was kind and efficient! Even when the restaurant got busier, we never had to wait for dishes to get replenished on the buffet line. My whole family enjoyed the food here!
All the food was very fresh and very tasty, purely southern style with plenty of vegetables to choose from including collards, cabbage, lima beans, green beans
The food is ok , no salt and pepper on the tables they have those little annoying packs , the guys behind the food line were doing just about everything from smashing trash to refilling the food and plates and touching the food and wiping down all the counters and pouring milk into the ice cream machine but 1 thing they weren’t doing was changing their gloves . I didn’t even finish eating when I noticed the trash get smashed and then the guy grabbed the cornbread and started placing it in the pan with the same gloves he smashed the trash with , at this point why wear the gloves .
We walked right in with no wait time. The atmosphere was pleasant and the buffet was stocked with a wide variety of excellent food! The price was reasonable and included unlimited soft drinks.
