We chose the Rockies for our wedding reception. Having family history in the area and the location is perfect. Just 30 guests for our early evening meal with wine and music to follow. The food and service both excellent. Ollie the chef put together a lovely menu, All fresh local produce. Our guests commented on how nice the food was. Would highly recommend Ollie and the team for a small gathering. The tables were dressed with fresh flowers and such care and attention to detail. Very reasonably priced for the four course meal. 
This is the second time in a week we have visited. First was a delicious sharing platter in the beer garden bathed in sunshine. Tonight we had a meal, a roast beef dinner & wagyu burger which my husband said was the best he’s ever had (he’s 64 & had a lot of burgers ) Dogs are made welcome. An absolute must if visiting Anstruther. Staff are a credit to the establishment.
The food was Amazing, huge servings, cheeky wee glass wine with fish & chips went down very well. waitress was brilliant, would return when next on a visit to Arbroath.
My wife and I dined at the Eastern Touch 3 times during our week's stay in Anstruther---we were that impressed !The menu is comprehensive, and the food and service is excellent. The staff go out of their way to please, and are more than happy to meet any special requests.So forget the fish suppers and get something decent to eat at the Eastern Touch !!
This is our go-to lunch spot when in Anstruther. Extensively renovated since our last visit. Excellent value for money and service. We only managed to get in on one of our two day visit unfortunately since both inside and outside tables were all full on the day we were leaving and we had a bus to catch. We had waited over half an hour and didn't see a lot being bought. The outside tables in particular were taken by locals having a lengthy chat. Not fair on the business owner but I suppose they have to depend on the locals out of season.
Tasty food in a relaxing atmosphere. Part of order delivered quite a bit later than rest of order. Waiting staff were friendly as was service. Would have been 5 if meal had all come together and error in bill. Wouldn't stop us coming back.
The food was amazing, the staff were fantastic and it was reasonably priced. We had a brilliant night. We ordered the recommended 3 dishes each, and it was all amazing. 
Had a great one night stay at The Bank while in the area for a wedding. Room was terrific in terms of size, cleanliness, quiet with a lovely view of the sea. Very large room and bathroom.Breakfast was superb - full breakfast very large and great quality.Staff were very helpful throughout...including helping me with question I had about arrival, local taxis etc. I'd highly recommend this hotel for a bead & breakfast stay.
Popped in for lunch with my husband a while ago and had a nice meal, the young blonde girl serving us was so kind and helpful, food was great as always, will pop in again soon!

Went here twice once for breakfast where we had avocado cob with tomatoes and on another occasion for coffee and scone. The service was quick and friendly. The food was fresh, tasty and good. The coffee was freshly made tasty and hot. The other dishes we saw looked well presented, were generous quantity and appetising.This is a small cafe where they make the best of the space but on both occasions was busy and seating at a premium.
Arguably the best fish and chips I've ever had. My partner recommended this place with good reason. There's sometimes a queue to eat in so be prepared. We only waited ten mins for a seat and got the classic haddock and chips each. It was just so well done. Crispy batter and soft fish with decent chips. All sauces including Edinburghs chippy sauce is available which was a bonus.Mushy peas were even decent and I'm not usually a fan.There is a small ice cream and sweets shop attached to the restaurant where you can get desert. I'd recommend it too.We had the chocolate sundae and the banana split. Both were very good.The staff are attentive and work so hard here with a tightly run system alongside a takeaway.The interior does get a bit cramped however. Seats and tables are fixed like an old style restaurant so it's a bit awkward if you're tall or elderly. the toilets also sometimes generate a queue. Beware old people who forget to bolt the door!
What a fabulous wee find. Popped in for a bite to eat. We had the soup and a sandwich deal. Sandwich was loaded with lovely chicken breast meat bursting out from the slices of bread and the soup was like your Granny’s homemade lentil, brilliant and delicious. The cakes looked amazing as well. Maybe next time. Lovely staff. Lovely peaceful atmosphere. A fantastic experience and very reasonably priced. We will be back. Don’t know why we didn’t try this place before given that we’re locals. Lol It’s a credit to the Owners.
Never tried Equi's ice cream but DEFINITELY will buy in future. Got a tub to eat in, sea salt & caramel and double cream vanilla. Top quality ice cream and relaxing place to eat.
I visited on a pretty quiet Saturday. The fish & chips was cooked freshly for me, therefore was advised by the gentleman of a 10 minute wait. Chatted to the gentleman whilst waiting who was very friendly & had good chat. Took my fish and chips back to the car as it was a miserable day. Lovely, light crispy batter and fresh flaky white fish. Chips were ok, nothing special but nothing to rave about. Just chips! Overall it was tasty and I’d definitely return.
First class little cafe situated in the Scottish Fisheries Museum. Great cakes, soups and hot drinks. Lovely staff!!!
Great beer, very tasty burgers of good quality, great venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Well worth a visit!
Hi. We were in this fine establishment yesterday we really enjoyed the bacon rolls, chips and Irn Bru. It was the perfect lunch eaten while we sat on the harbour wall. While we waited for our food, which was ready very quickly, everyone was very friendly and chatted with us, even the local customers made us feel welcome. It's not an area that we have visited before bit if we are back we will defo be back to you for luch. Lovely friendly staff and customers 😁
