Delicious, authentic, freshly home cooked Indian vegetarian food. Such a warm welcome from the owners. Love it, will be my first destination when I'm in the area again.
Yum. I love pierogi and this place didn’t disappoint. Very light and fresh tasting. I went for the ruskie - simple but perfect especially with the onion topping. Friendly owners. Will be back. (Doesn’t take card)
We were visiting relatives and were delighted they suggested we have dinner here. The staff made us feel very welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. All our choices from the menu were delicious and the portions were generous and nicely presented. We will definitely look forward to going back the next time we are in the area.

So glad that we found this gem of an eatery! Nearly everything is available with a gluten-free option. The staff are also really friendly and helpful. So good we had to go twice! The first time for the most amazing brie, cranberry and bacon panini - the second time, the following day, for a lovely slice of g-f coffee and walnut cake. A definite for my next trip to Chester.
We saw online Shrub did "Frickles" an absolute favourite.....they were fantastic as were the other tapas (Tofu, Beetroot, Courgette and Artichoke). Attentive and friendly service, great atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended!!!
We visited the cafe with friends who had been before. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. Very good menu to choose from so we opted for 3 English breakfasts and 1 smashed avocado with poached eggs on sourdough. All was delicious and served with a smile. There was a good choice of cakes also, if you had room for any, or to take away.Highly recommended.

Incredible food, wonderful service and a beautiful restaurant with great music and an idyllic sun trap out the front. Divine cocktails, delicious halloumi and steak and the best mac and cheese I’ve ever eaten. The perfect place for a gorgeous meal in Chester with friends.
Wow what great service we got from Angie our daughter son in law and our granddaughter came to visit and we brought get my elderly dad too- we changed bits of the menu which was no problem and all enjoyed lunch - the welcome was warm and Angie was very helpful. The beer was good as was the food - my dad thought the fries were the best crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside thank you for letting our granddaughter stretch out on her mat- we will be back
This weekend I went to Chester for coffee with my family. We visit the bean and cole coffee shop on frodsham Street . When I was there I was served by some very friendly and helpful staff. I ordered a hot chocolate and it was very creamy and also had a very rich chocolatey taste to it Also the bean and cole coffee shop had a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.Great staff and great coffee.I would highly recommend the bean and cole coffee shop frodsham Street Chester (5 stars)

Superb surroundings in an old grocery shop. The staff were excellent and attentive upon arrival and throughout our stay. We had Sunday lunch that was superbly cooked and the flavours were amazing. We would highly recommend and cannot wait to visit again.
The food was absolutely delicious and great service too! 10/10 we could taste the seasoning and it was a culinary delight
This restaurant served us excellent, Italian-style pizza. The price was reasonable. It had a friendly atmosphere. One tip: we were there on a Thursday evening: it was busy and people without reservations were being turned away. So book a table!
Easy to find, clean and bright decor. Food was excellent as a group of 10 persons everyone commented that they enjoyed their food and how tasty it was. Generous portions too. Good service by a young waitress, quiet and efficient. Ali the owner was very chatty and recommended really nice Turkish wines and beers. All of us were very impressed. Would heartily recommend here to eat whilst in Chester.

Lovely place with tasty food and good portions. Music playing at a conversation friendly volume. Can recommend the atina breakfast and coffee.
The food was delicious as always and the servers called Belle and Ffion were really great and helpful. The atmosphere and staff were lovely aswell.
