Steer clear of this establishment. The food was inedible. It's pretty hard to mess up spaghetti with meatballs and lasagna. The meat in meatballs and lasagna was hard, crusty and black in color. We paid our bill and had dinner next door at Lorenzo's. We were excited to visit from out of town and I am flabbergasted that anyone can eat here. The server was amazing and sweet, so we quietly paid the bill and ran as fast as we could!!!
This place is amazing!!! Our waitress, Serria, could not have been friendlier or more attentive and accommodating. The food was excellent (Calamari, Chicken Marsala for him and Eggplant Parm for me) garlic bread and salad included!
I walked very much downhill from a highway motel to this restaurant. When I walked in, the full bar of people turned and stared. I asked about dinner and at first that almost seemed like an odd thing. I was there 5-ish so I could walk back up the hill before dark, so a bit on the early side. I was finally led to the dining room in back, presented with a menu and a list of specials written in pencil on a sheet of paper. After this initial bad start, things improved. The one server was excellent. The garlicy chicken special was delicious. There was no wine list because it was being revised, but whatever cabernet I got was good and generous. All in all, a satisfying meal. Prices very reasonable as well.
Good food, great drinks, friendly people. On bridge street close to park and River walk. Currently open Thursday thru Sunday
