Very friendly, attentive and professional service. Extraordinary that when all tables outside were full, they brought more from inside. Menu mainly meat but vegetarians can also find nice mezze. Very big portions with different complements (hummus, caviar aubergine). Good value for money, plates between 15-18€. Inside, there is a bid counter from which one may buy to take-away or check what is on offer/menu.
Being Lebanese, I often have a very particular opinion about how our traditional dishes are prepared in a foreign country. So I went to Mawal, wondering whether the cuisine would be authentic or adapted to local tastes. And I was really pleasantly surprised! The portions were generous, the flavors authentic, the menu so varied, and the waiter, Ziad, was so friendly and generous. Plus, it’s in my neighborhood, so I will definitely be coming back !
